John is an experienced ESOP trustee and an employee benefits law attorney, working with clients throughout the country and in various industries. John also serves on advisory boards and as a fiduciary for profit sharing and 401(k) plans.

Since 2007, John has practiced exclusively ESOP and employee benefits law, providing advice to board members, plan administrators, investment committees, trustees, and investment advisors on best practices to limit exposure to fiduciary liability.  John has worked as an attorney at the Employee Benefits Law Group PC (California) and Ice Miller LLP (Indiana), and as a partner at Barclay Damon LLP (New York) and ESOP Plus: Schatz Brown Glassman LLP (New York).

John is a graduate of Columbia University (A.B. 1995), Ohio University (M.S. 1999), and UC Davis School of Law (J.D. 2007) where he was an editor of the UC Davis Law Review and the recipient of the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Pension Law. He lives in Syracuse with his wife, Tracy Lobo, and daughter Alice.

Tracy is an ESOP trustee with several years of experience working with ESOPs. Tracy oversees the daily operations of Sky Blue, drawing on her background in operations management. Her goal is to create streamlined processes that deliver outstanding, individualized service and support to every client. Prior to joining Sky Blue, she spent several years serving as master planner and materials manager at TSYS Acquiring Solutions.

Tracy is an alumna of Ohio Wesleyan University (B.A. 1995, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and Ohio University (2004), where she completed a Ph.D. in psychology. She lives in Syracuse, New York with Sky Blue founder John and their daughter Alice.  She serves on the local school district’s Mental Wellness and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committees.

Susan is an attorney at Kantor & Kantor, LLP, focusing on a variety of ERISA and employee benefits law matters.  Susan has over a decade of experience with ESOPs.  She has advised companies, board members, and trustees on all aspect of ESOPs including transactions, administration, compliance, investigations, litigation, and fiduciary matters.  In addition to her legal background, Susan has retirement plan services experience at BlackRock Financial and OneAmerica Retirement Services LLC.

Susan has served as a board member of the Western Pension & Benefits Council and has been voted Best of the Bar by the San Diego Business Journal.  Susan is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and California Western School of Law. She currently lives in San Diego, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and pursuing her interest in all things artistic.

Kevin, a partner and financial advisor at Prospero Wealth Advisors, has over a decade of experience with employer-sponsored retirement plans. Kevin was a partner at Genovese Burford & Brothers in Sacramento where he had responsibilities to oversee $1.5 billion in assets. In that role he led a team overseeing 120 corporate retirement plans in addition to serving on an investment committee providing discretionary investment management of personal wealth management portfolios.

Kevin is a past board member of the Sacramento chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council and has been ranked as a top financial advisor by the Financial Times. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Investment Advisor Representative (IAR). Kevin is a graduate of Seattle University. He is an avid cyclist in Sacramento, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
